Maybe No One Knows, and Maybe No One Cares

The local elections took place every two years, back in the day, and voters in the 5th Ward would cast their ballots at a temporary booth, which was in a vacant lot, on Scovill Street, near Brook Street and Spring Street, back in 1899.
