The Western Hills Neighborhood Association (WHNA) in June of 2017 gave up it's membership in the Waterbury Neighborhood Council (WNC).  Calls to association officials went unanswered, but the move came simultaneously with an exit from the WNC by  the Washington Park Neighborhood Association (WPNA) and the South End Neighborhood Association (SENA).  This is according to the WNC-published awards dinner guidebook in October of 2017.
