The Waterbury Chapter of UNICO National is accepting applications for local one-time scholarships from students of Italian descent who live in and/or attend school in Waterbury. 
 
Applications must be completed in their entirety. All completed applications must be received by the Waterbury Chapter of UNICO no later than April 1, 2022. Applications are available at all Waterbury public and private school Guidance Offices For additional information, please contact Robert Gerace, Scholarship Chair, at (203) 592-8785 or WaterburyUNICO@yahoo.com.
 
In addition, UNICO National Scholarships are also available for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. A nominee must reside in the home state of an active UNICO Chapter and receive local sponsorship. Visit www.UNICO.org for details. 
 
UNICO was founded in 1922 in Waterbury, CT by a group of professional Italian-Americans who were denied membership into a local service organization. They created UNICO to raise promote and preserve the Italian-American culture while doing charitable works in their community. The motto of UNICO is "Service Above Self".
