About Grandview HeightsGrandview Heights is a quaint neighborhood tucked neatly in the far reaches of our original settlement. Bounded roughly by South Wilson Street, Bank Street, Seymour Street, and Highland Avenue, this neighborhood bordered the highly Lithuanian neighborhood of what eventually became Brooklyn, and the highly Italian neighborhood of what eventually became New Haven. It also bordered the undeveloped area of Bradleyville and the largest, now-destroyed, swamps in greater Waterbury.
