Right here in good ole Waterbury - City of Neighborhoods, the Brass City, the Time Capital of the World, the Fastener Capital of the Nation - and we've still got a little time to do some acting.
In this particular case, the iconic MGM Studios is seeking talent for their upcoming Hollywood film in their Studio on Wheels. On May 19th, 1933, "thousands" of people were attracted to the talent search. The $150,000 studio, which in today's dollars would equate to "3,273,646.15 today, poised itself in front of the famed Waterbury Palace Theater. Did Anyone Ever Create
