Catholic Conference

Wolcott native and long-time Thomaston resident, Ken Santopietro, has been named Director of the 2013 Connecticut Catholic Men's conference.  The location for the event is Goodwin College, 1 Riverside Drive, at East Hartford, and will takes place on October 26th, 2013, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:oo p.m.  Following the leadership of newly-installed Pope Francis, the conference aims at rebuilding the Catholic Church, the Catholic Faith, and Catholic lives.

CAUGHT!

THOMASTON  A local woman stole money, and got CAUGHT!  While on probation, she thought it was okay to sell drugs.  CAUGHT, again!

THOMASTON  A man in town thought he would burglarize a home, but an alarm sounded and he took off.  However, the burglar alarm system managed to capture a photo of the man, so he got CAUGHT - at least on tape.  Police are still investigating whether the man intended to burglarize, rob, or assault anyone who was inside.
